Comments: Kokopo is a very interesting banana in the the flesh of the fruit is high in beta-carotene and Vitamin A giving it a beautiful orange color! Be careful though as the fruit is fairly thin-skinned and easily bruised. Kokopo is a very short cycle banana so it can produce fruit in the same year that it is planted. The leaves and psuedostem have a nice pink coloration to them. |
