Comments:
The serrated, dark foliage of this well known plant can be used to dramatic effect inside or out. As an interior plant, allow it to remain full and bushy, and use it in a brightly lit room or atrium. In warmer climates, plant it in the landscape, where it will achieve the look and form of a multi-trunked tree. (As it grows, the individual leaves will achieve huge proportions!) Contrast this plant with large-leafed plants, such as Philodendron giganteum, Strelitzia reginae, or alpinia zerumbet.
